This view really jumped out at me as I walked around the lake at Clumber Park today. Taken by the side of a small weir, the bridge provides a great focal point. Clumber Bridge was the original approach to Clumber Park prior to the development of the famous lime tree avenue. It was built in the 1760’s in a classical style over the River Poulter, which was dammed to form the famous Clumber Park lake.

This image was taken on 12th May 2012 with a Nikon D90 fitted with a Nikon VR 18-200mm zoom lens at a local length of  34mm. It is the result of merging 3 separate exposures and post-processing with Photoshop CS5.

The image is 2766 x 4187px at a resolution of 300dpi.
