Inquisitive Barbary Macaque

Barbary Macaque at Monkey Forest

On a visit to the Monkey Forest at Trentham, this little chap came and sat beside me to pass the time of day. It’s a great place to watch and photograph monkeys, plenty of space for everyone and they are all fairly tame and used to the general noise and sight of humans.

I decided against “painting” this image because I  couldn’t really add anything to a great capture. The image was taken with a Nikon D90 fittled with a Nikon VR 70-300 G zoom lens. The focal length is 200mm with an aperture of f/5.3 at 1/400s.
